Lesson Start Times
We don’t run lessons on a fixed hourly schedule. Instead, we choose the best start time based on ocean conditions and tides. By 6 PM the night before your surf lesson, we contact you with your exact start time. We’ll confirm again the morning in case conditions change overnight. This flexible scheduling helps ensure the best possible experience—right in line with our Positive Experience Guarantee.

Just hydration, sunscreen, and a towel. Swimming ability required.
Safety
Ensuring an attentive experience with a 3:1 surfer-to-instructor ratio. South End’s instructors are CPR-certified and fully insured. You must be able to swim in order to participate.
